A few general reminders
The first round of the claiming process is still ongoing. There are still some unclaimed prompts, so if you have not commented with your claims yet, please do so quickly. Once the first round of claims closes, we will be having a second round of claiming. The exact day and time the second round opens is still to be decided.
Schedule: For your convenience, here is a re-post of the timeline for this challenge. To see an overview and list of rules, go here.
Monday, October 11th: Check in
Friday, October 15th: Posting Schedule goes up
Monday, October 25th: Posting begins
Joining/Watching the community: Because there are so many participants in the challenge, we will not be able to email reminders of deadlines or requirements. Therefore it is imperative that you join and watch the community for updates diligently. If you are prone to missing posts on your flist, you may also track the community for new posts as well.
Fic/Art Betas: If you would like to volunteer to beta in some capacity, please go to the sign up post here. If you are an artist or author looking for a beta, look in the above linked post to find a willing volunteer and contact them. We will not be assigning betas.
Contact: Artists are free to contact their authors once their prompts have been assigned. Authors, if you would like to leave contact information and a message for your artist to contact you, you may leave a comment to this post under the 'CONTACT' thread. It is suggested you leave at least your assigned prompt number and an email or request for PM.
Questions: If you have any questions, you may leave a comment under the 'QUESTIONS' thread.
Feedback/Other Comments: If you have any other feedback, you may leave a comment under the 'FEEDBACK' thread.

Re: QUESTIONS
Check in is tomorrow, Oct 11, and I'm about three quarters of the way through my fic, it's getting darn long! Anyway my question is after check in and before our posting dates are we permitted to post excerpts on our journals, or here or both, just for promotion and to get some advertising for the entire project?
I've seen that done before and have done it myself or another fandom and it seems to work out really well and be a lot of fun. Sort of makes everyone guess what everyone else is up to. It's also a nice reminder to those not participating that all these arts with fics are coming soon.

Re: FEEDBACK
I got in touch with my 2 authors, sent them the arts and they both answered back. So, no pb for me.
Keep up the good work and good luck the rest of the challenge. :D

CONTACT
Re: CONTACT
Also, in the piece I claimed, it sounded like a Castle fusion, but I was wondering if Castiel could be the writer with his recently divorced brother, Jimmy, and his daughter, Claire, with possibly their eccentric father, Gabriel thrown in the mix. Then I wanted to know the type of flower they used and the language that was on the side of the banner. It'd be extremely helpful so I could work those details in.
Re: CONTACT
I really wanted to claim your work, but unfortunately, I had to drop out due to some personal issues at the moment. Though, if no one claims your art, or you would like a second take on it, feel free to contact me via pm or at wincest_whore@live.com
Again, very nicely done!
