This isn't a bad idea, since the art did, indeed, inspire the fic. Please check with your artist, of course, and make sure this is okay with them.

At LJ, this is extremely easy; just upload to either your or your artist's Scrapbook and insert into the fic from there. For Archive of Our Own, visit this page. If you're still having problems, drop us a line!

I really wanted to embed the art when i posted to this live journal community but forgot when i posted in a last minute panic. Is it possible to do it retrospectively?

I think you CAN edit your masterpost...is that what you mean? Try it and see!
