2014-2015 Posting Guildlines!

We're almost there, gang! The first stories should be sneaking onto your timeline shortly, so here are our posting guidelines.

We leave it up to each artist/author team to decide amongst themselves who will post to [livejournal.com profile] spn_reversebang, but we will not approve any submissions that do not have links for BOTH art and fic. When it is your posting date, please use the following format:

Please keep Author/Artist notes, disclaimers, and other things to the actual fic/art posts. This will help prevent master posts to this community from getting too lengthy or cluttered.

Banners are allowed here so long as they are work-safe and no larger than 500px in width and 350px in height.

Be sure to communicate with your partner before posting! (You should be talking to each other anyway, yes? If you haven't touched base in several weeks, please do so!) Talk with each other about what the comm masterpost should say, how any additional art should be displayed, the tags it will use, and a suitable time when you can post together.

You must include relevant tags with your post including: challenge 2014, genre, medium, pairing, rating, and word count. In the event that more than one pairing tag could apply or there are multiple types of art, then include all that are relevant. If there isn't an appropriate tag for your story, feel free to request one in the comments. Also, post the entire work at once. Do not post it piecemeal, like a serial.

Lastly please post to LJ FIRST, before you put it on tumblr, AO3, FF.net, etc. After it goes live on your LJ, you are free to pimp it all over the internet. (EDIT: you can post the fic and art on your various sites, to get the URLs, as long as you post your Masterpost here at the comm IMMEDIATELY thereafter, cool?) In fact, we highly encourage that! Shine your light. :) We also have a collection over at AO3, where you can include your handiwork: AO3 2014 SPN ReverseBang.

If you have any questions, please ask below. Good luck, and Happy New Year!

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm a little confused by this, since there's also a space for AO3/Tumblr links in the masterpost header: Lastly please post to LJ FIRST, before you put it on tumblr, AO3, FF.net, etc. After it goes live on LJ, you are free to pimp it all over the internet.

Is the idea that we come back later and edit the post on the comm to include the AO3 link?

Good to know -- thanks for clarifying!

I haven't heard from my artist in quite some time (and our post date is tomorrow, eep). I do have a link to a jpg of the art directly, but not one that leads back to her page (if that makes sense). Will that suffice until I hear from her?

She said she could have it up late tonight or maybe tomorrow, but I've used the link that I have for now. =/

Hi! When I first added my entry to the moderation queue, I used the wrong link for my LJ. I've since tried a second time with my correct link. Could you please disregard the first one with the incorrect story link?

Thank you, and sorry for the confusion!
