2013-2014 POSTING GUIDELINES

We leave it up to each artist/author team to decide amongst themselves who will post to spn_reversebang, but we will not approve any submissions that do not have links for BOTH art and fic. When it is your posting date, please use the following format:

Please keep Author/Artist notes, disclaimers, and other things to the actual fic/art posts. This will help prevent master posts to this community from getting too lengthy or cluttered.

Banners are allowed here so long as they are work-safe and no larger than 500px in width and 350px in height.

Be sure to communicate with your partner before posting. Talk with each other about what the comm masterpost should say, the tags it will use, and a suitable time when you can post together.

You must include relevant tags with your post including: challenge 2013, genre, medium, pairing, rating, and word count. In the event that more than one pairing tag could apply or there are multiple types of art, then include all that are relevant. If there isn't an appropriate tag for your story, feel free to request one in the comments.

If the main pairing isn't explicitly romantic/sexual in the writing, but was part of the prompt and is definitely central to the story, should we still tag it with the pairing or just tag it as gen?

If the main pairing is the least bit romantic in nature, I'd label it as X/Y, but have the rating reflect the 'hot' factor (G, PG-13, on up.) If there isn't any romantic intention (a buddy tale), you're good with 'gen'. Hope this helps!

Hi! One of the author I'm working with hasn't been answering emails since December the 4th so I'm a little bit worried I won't get a link to the fic to post with my art.

There's still time though, so maybe it'll be okay, but in case she stays awol, do you plan of having a day, at the end of the challenge, that allows people who don't get fic/art to post with their art/fic to still post their work?

Sooo, I had a question. I just posted to the community, but when I had to put in the tags, I came to the conclusion that I couldn't pick a 'medium' tag, because the ones that are there all don't fit my art? I took pictures of crocheted dolls. I did a tiny bit of manipulation on one of the pictures, but I don't really think it falls under manips. Could you maybe create a tag that I can use?

Yeah, I don't know why it does that. Just hand type 2013_spn_reversebang in the "Post to Collections / Challenges" field instead.
