The Finishing Line Is Nearing Artists!

This is the moment we've been waiting for! The absolutely final deadline for artists to submit their pieces for this year's challenge is 24 hours away. At 23.59.59 Monday September 19th 2011 (going into Tuesday September 20th 2011) the submission deadline closes.

Artists so long as your art is submitted by 23.59.59 in your timezone it will be accepted. This shall be verified by the timestamp on the email you use to send your art in.

Hey!
Just a little question: how finished does the draft have to be? I could only finish a quickly colored lineart, which would not be the same as the finished picture until tomorrow...
Is that enough? D:

Yes, that is probably enough :) The rule is that your piece must be sufficiently finished that it could be posted as a stand-alone piece. (This is because we don't want to forbid artists to work on it further later, but we want to make sure all the elements are there, so that an author can start working from it immediately).

Sent mine in---I'm still working on the fine details and such but there is a complete picture! Even though as soon as I hit the send button I was like NOWAITICHANGEDMYMIND. OH WELL. :) (Also, I hope I filled out that description appropriately... I kind of suck at that. Okay. Completely suck.)

Which ever your most comfortable with :) We do advice artists to include a short description of the underlying idea, especially if they would like the author to use it for the fic, but ultimately it's up to you.

Maybe check your spam folder? Because I can see in our logs that we did receive a submission from you on Sept. 12th, and sent out a confirmation the next day. Either way, you should be good!

I'm sure you can! Remember coloring can be done later so long as the outline is solid and 'there' there is no reason why we won't accept it.

Wow, so I didn't imagine this challenge. I'm sorry for not making the deadline. Turns out I don't have this comm friended and couldn't find which community I had signed up with. Frankly, I had started to think I had made it all up. No one on my flist knew what I was talking about when I posted asking people for help.

Again, sorry for flaking out. I guess I will try to catch it next year. It's a shame because my art is almost done and now I have nowhere to share it for fic.
