Submission Guidelines for Artists

Here are the guidelines for submitting your art for claims.

  • Art pieces should be completed drafts. You may still make changes, but the art should be complete enough that a writer could work from it even if no changes are made.

  • They are due by Monday, September 19, but you may send them in beforehand if you are ready. Early Bird Exception: Artists who wish to submit two prompts must complete and submit one prompt by Friday, September 2. Otherwise, only one prompt will be allowed per artist.

  • Submissions should be sent to spnreversemod@gmail.com with the subject: Art Submission. Attach the file to the email.
  • You may only submit one piece (unless you are doing an Early Bird prompt), although you may do more art in conjunction with your author.

  • If you are doing a comic style piece with panels, it must be one image file which will then count as one piece.

  • There is no maximum size for art, though each art prompt must be at least 400 by 600 pixels. If it is a vid it must be at least 30 seconds in length.

  • There is no need to submit a thumbnail version.

  • Images can be sent in the following formats: GIF, JPG, PNG, and TIFF.

  • Vids can be sent in the following formats: AVI, MOV, MPG, and WMV.

  • Please do not upload your art anywhere; artwork should remain anonymous until after claims reveals. If and only if you have a vid with a file size too large to e-mail, you may upload to an anonymous file sharing site like megaupload and send us the link.

  • Please make the file name your LJ username and whether it's RPF, SPN(FPF) or either. For example, yournamehere_either.jpg or yourusernamehere_spn.avi. If you are submitting two pieces, your Early Bird prompt should also have the word early in the file name. For example, early_yournamehere_either.jpg or early_yourusernamehere_spn.avi. This will allow us to keep things organized and to ensure no duplicate file names.

If I make 2 prompts can I submit them at different times? Say I make one and submit it on the 2nd, can I submit another by the 19th?
