Updates and Reminders post!
Reminder to Artists:
Art drafts are due by midnight EST, the night of Monday, September 20th! Guidelines for submitting art can be found in this post. If we don't have a draft of your art by the deadline, you will not be included in the author claims. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment on this post, or the submissions post, or email the mod email account at spn.rbang.mod@gmail.com.
If you've already sent in your art, you should've received a confirmation email from us. If you sent in your drafts and haven't received a confirmation email, please let us know.
Reminder to Authors:
The claims post is going to be locked to community members only - you must join the comm in order to see the drafts, and in order to claim a draft!
Call for Art and Fic Betas:
Want to participate, but not sure you'll have the time to finish by the deadline? We also have a sign-up for Art and Fic Betas. Please take a look and consider signing up to help out your fellow artists and authors!
How will Author Claims work?
The author claims will be going up in a locked post with comments turned off on Thursday, September 23rd so everyone can get a chance to look through the art before the claiming begins. Prompts will be numbered, without the artists names attached until after the claiming period has ended. Each prompt will include a thumbnail that links to the full-size version, genre (SPN or RPF), rating and pairing information, as well as a short description.
After 24 hours comments will be turned on and claiming will begin on Friday, September 24th. Authors will comment with their LJ username and the prompt number to claim a piece - in the first round authors will only be allowed to claim one piece of art. Claims will be first come first serve, and the prompts will be crossed out as they are claimed. In the second round authors may claim a second prompt.
Depending on how claiming goes, we may allow multiple authors to claim the same prompt - as of now that decision is still TBA.

I know a while ago there were issues with gmail's auto spam filters, but I thought that'd been resolved. :/

LOL I'm still being ridiculously antsy that it isn't going to count because it didn't show up in *their* inbox and yada yada yada...
WHEW, I'm ready to pass out from the nerves.

I was under the impression that the art itself was the 'prompt' or inspiration for the fic, but a lot of the art posted has a 'this is what i think/intend for what's going on in the picture/what the fic should be about'.... Is that how this is actually going to work, or is that something extra that some (not all) artists have added, and can be ignored?
I really hope to get a reply before the prompt claim starts. Thank you!
