Hey, gang...how we doin'?

I know we're all preoccupied with, yanno, THE SEASON PREMIERE OF THE SHOW, so let's make this a really informal check-in! If everything is chugging along and on-task, we don't need to hear from you. If, however, you haven't heard from your partner in a while and have concerns, please drop us a line at spnreversemod@gmail.com. If we don't hear from you before the fic drafts are due (October 29th), we're going to assume everything is sailing smoothly.

I had a small issue with a stupid computer virus that refused to go away but it's fixed now and then there was Torcon but I gotten a pretty good chunk of it written.

Still finishing my RBB in a different fandom (scheduled to be done over the weekend) and then I can focus on the boys. So, technically, I haven't written a single word yet. BUT I've got the general plot figured out so things should hopefully go smoothly once I tackle the fic. *crosses fingers*

Done except for tweaking. Now I'm sort of hoping to pick up a juicy pinch hit. (Except I don't want authors/artists to be having any of those troubles, of course). ;-) That reminds me-- pinch hits, should any come up, are posted here, correct? there isn't a separate PH comm?

Having major issue...

I feel I am 3/4 of the way through the fic... well over 3K words already but my keyboard has been acting up. Sticky keys giving me a headache like you wouldn't believe. I have no money to get it fixed and too afraid and inexperienced to open it up and try to fix it myself. I've tried cleaning w/ air duster and all that, nothing works. It also comes and goes so I've been trying to get writing in before it acts up again, but it's been like pulling teeth.

I've informed my artist of the problem but we're just crossing our fingers that I'll get it done, even if I have to run to local library and use their comps. Idk if my beta will have time to do a thorough job, but she's being such a trooper and betas in bits and pieces as I get a chunk done here and there.

Just wanted to give ya a heads up. Wish me luck!
