Summary: Meg and Benny go on a roadtrip. Pretexting, hunting, LARPing, and bickering over music in the car ensue. Meg educates Benny in the ways of Supernatural fandom, modern pop culture, and being a demon. Claire Novak writes Supernatural fanfiction. Castiel gets his grace back.
Author notes: I agonized over which piece to list as my first choice during the reveals and sign-ups, and I am so, so glad I went with ms_doomandgloom's fabulous piece. Between her prompt and her piece, I managed to dream up and write a story I never knew I had in me. I'm not usually a Meg or a Benny fan, put ms_doomandgloom's picture brought them to life for me. I couldn't have done this without the patience of my family and friends, and I especially couldn't have done it without the unparalleled beta skills of darcydelaney, who took time out of a crazy busy writing schedule to give this story the help it needed; of roastspud, who had an amazingly quick turnaround and was sweetly encouraging; and of nerdyglasses247, my first beta in this fandom and ever an inspiration for improving my writing.
