I really enjoyed this story. I could totally see it as an actual episode. It was filled with a cool case and well-developed lord but also had the underpinnings of an ongoing story arc, with Cas and Dean coming off of an argument and patching their relationship up, with the story ending in so much potential. It was awesome! And I liked Dean's character development, where he no longer sees creatures in such black and white good or bad terms.
