WELCOME TO THE SWAP MEAT!

If you have found yourself with an unworkable posting date and can’t find anyone who will swap dates with you, this is the place to be.

Please try to make these arrangements off-comm first, privately, then inform us at spnreversemod@gmail.com when all parties are in agreement.

If you cannot find someone to swap with, comment below with your request. Include preferred contact information, the date you will be abandoning, and some idea of which dates you would prefer instead. Hopefully, someone will step up and offer to switch. Once both teams have decided upon an agreeable swap, drop us an email at spnreversemod@gmail.com. You will get a confirmation from us via email as well as here at the comm., so everyone is up to speed.

PLEASE use this as a last-ditch effort! We have made a valiant attempt to give teams space in between multiple posting dates and the list a nice mix of the various categories. If you’re still having a tough time getting a different date, even after posting here, email us and we’ll help you.

You may also use this post to offer up your date if, for instance, your team would like to post earlier and have been assigned a later date. We’re sure there will be takers. ;)

Posting Schedule 2014

We know you’ve all been anxiously waiting for this to come, so here we go!

Before we get to the good stuff though, we have a few stats, notes and reminders for you all.

This year, we’ve had a total of 176 art prompts (103 SPN, 48 RPF, 25 Either), submitted by 94 artists. Yes, indeed, that means almost 2/3 or all artists submitted multiple prompts! To be specific, we’ve had 30 artists turn in two prompts and 26 that turned in a whopping three prompts. Thanks so much, guys, for making this event possible to begin with!

On the author front, we had an impressive 222 originally signed up, with 168 people actually claiming a prompt. Considering the artist/author ratio, we only have 8 writers with two claims for this round. Kudos to all of you guys as well, for giving all our lovely art prompts a loving home within 48 hours.

As you can see above, we have a LOT of people with multiple pieces this year, be it artists or authors. That is reflected in the posting schedule as well. We tried to wrangle it so that everybody with more than one piece has at least a week to ten days between their posting dates. Also, we tried to come up with a reasonable mix of SPN and RPF prompts for the entire posting period.

Considering that, PLEASE try and stick with your original posting date! If you absolutely cannot make your date, please go to the POSTING DATE SWAP POST HERE and follow the instructions.

Lastly, here’s a short reminder of the next important scheduled dates for this round of the challenge:

Thursday, November 20-27: Author Check-in (MANDATORY)

Sunday, December 7: Writer Rough Drafts Due

Monday, January 5: Posting Begins!
