This is the post for people who would like to volunteer to beta art and fic for this challenge.

Authors are required to have their work checked by a beta reader, though it doesn't necessarily have to be by someone on this list. Artists are not required to have their work beta-checked, but it is encouraged.

Please note that the mods will not be pairing/matching betas with participants; artists and authors should contact a beta volunteer directly.

I'm pretty open but I can only help 2 or 3 people and I'm best at catching spelling/grammar/punctuation errors. There are people out there who look at active/passive voice, I'm not likely to catch that. I can comment on whether people seem in character or not but if you want me to be sure to let me know. I don't like to come off as overly critical so be sure to tell me if you just want basic stuff or story related comments as well. :) Also, I like happy endings!

I am NOT willing to beta: I don't really enjoy the romance genre in original fiction, whether it's PG or NC17, and that dislike seems to have followed me into fanfic. Romance that occurs as a natural progression and highlight of the overall plot is perfectly fine, but please, no straight up all-about-the-pairing fics. Neither of us will be having fun.
Pairings: Anyone underage. Animals.
Ratings and Warnings: As long as no one is underage, or an animal, then pretty much any sex scene that serves the plot is cool, however it goes down.

Genre-wise I dig horror, AU's, humor, character death, dark fic with sad, sad endings, and much more. I think I'm strongest identifying character voice, flow, and overall plot & story development over SPAG checking, but I can do both. Before sending me your fic, please email me with a brief summary [about 100 words should do it], final word count, and requested turn around time. I will email you promptly and let you know if I am currently available and if I can get it done in the time allotted.

You can also feel free to email ahead and ask questions specific to your fic. Sometimes, I know, fics just don't fall into neat categories. Ask away!
