We leave it up to every artist/author team to decide amongst themselves who will post the master post, but we will not approve any posts that do not have both an art link and a fic link. When it is your posting date, please use the following format to post to spn_reversebang

Please keep Author/Artist notes, disclaimers, and other things to the actual fic/art posts. This will help prevent master posts to this community from getting too lengthy or cluttered.

Banners are allowed in the master post so long as they are work-safe and no larger than 400px in width and 350px in height.

Be sure to communicate with your partner before posting. Talk with each other about what the masterpost should say, the tags it will use and a suitable time when you can post together.

There should be a minimum of six tags on your post to the community. In the event that more than one pairing tag could apply or there are multiple types of art then include all that are relevant.

Anything we don't have a pairing tag for counts as rare, but I went ahead and added an jared/jdm one, so you can use that now.

Hi, I have a question. My story might "technically" be considered a crossover because I stole a character from a novel, but you don't have to have read the book to follow the story. Do I still have to tag it as a crossover? I know lots of readers (like, er, me) find crossovers off-putting.

No, you don't have to tag it as a crossover. The crossover tag was really intended for fics that included both RPF and SPN characters.

I'm trying to post my story and art and LJ is saying that the post is 'too large'!!!! Which is really annoying because I can post the story and fic on my own webpage on LJ and on AO3? Do you have any idea what I should do?

Okay, I have been having major trouble posting this all night. First some weird font color and size thing happend on my LJ, now I don't know exactly where you want me to post? Do I simply post to the front page of the spnreversebang website? Is there somewhere else I should post? Help!! Please!!

Yes, please post to the spn_reversebang community. (You have to join the community to have posting access.) For the formatting of the post, just copy what's in the box above and replace the relevant links to point to your journal and the artist's journal. You can look at any of the posts so far to get an idea of what it will look like.

Okay, I've got the information ready for posting here on SPNReverseBang, but I'm having some difficulty posting in my LJ account. I got the first chapter in, but something weird keeps happening to the font color, and size. I have all the basic information - and all the links are accounted for. Can I please post so the artist's information can be seen, and I will continue to work on my posting issues in my LJ? People will be able to read the chapters as I clean up the html. problems.
